Tennessee Association of Utility Districts (TAUD) is the oldest rural water association in the nation. TAUD provides technical assistance to rural water, sewer systems and natural gas utilities to help ensure that citizens of Tennessee have clean, safe, drinking water, reliable sewer systems and the clean energy of natural gas. TAUD is an affiliate of the National Rural Water Association (NRWA). Currently, TAUD has over 700 utility and associate members. TAUD was established in 1957.
