The Talisman is a newspaper written by Sheldon students.The newspaper is published two times each term. Students do all the reporting, editing, page layout, graphic design, marketing, and advertising for the newspaper. The Talisman is operated as a small business; students work in coordination with the adviser and are responsible for meeting assignment and layout deadlines. Newspaper photographers use digital equipment including scanners, digital cameras, Adobe In Design and Illustrator as well as Photoshop.
