To describe Kathy in one sentence might be difficult but let’s give it a try… Kathy is a seasoned creative designer and printing specialist, the calm in the eye-of-the-storm, a mind reader, and so much more. Here are a few things that she specializes in: Book Design and Printing Website Design Video Production Kathy has been immersed in the art world her entire professional career. She attended the Colorado Institute of Art and while attending college, she worked for several prominent organizations gaining valuable experience such as, the Arts Students League of Denver, Metropolitan Denver Arts Alliance / Denver Partnership, and News4 Denver. Kathy was hired by Joe Bullard, formerly managing editor of the Denver Post, as Production Manager for one of Denver’s first publication design firms, Publication Design, Inc. Kathy spent her days designing, producing, and scheduling weekly publications in the cable news trade industry. She worked with some of Denver’s most prestigious writers, editors and photographers from The Rocky Mountain News, Denver Post, and the Denver and Boulder Business Journals. Kathy’s career path took her to the Western Slope to the Gunnison Valley and the towns of Crested Butte and Gunnison. She worked as Prepress Department Manager for two printing companies in the Valley — Crested Butte Printing and B&B Printers. Kathy was the in-house Prepress Manager and lead graphic designer for B&B Printers until she moved to Fort Collins in 2015. In tandem, she operated her own business and designed the Crested Butte Magazine for over ten years, working with local writers, photographers and editors in the Valley. Kathy also worked for the Crested Butte Weekly and was the signature designer for Crested Butte Center for the Arts until 2019, and to this day works with Pamela Frenette designing for the Ultimate Camping Network in Gunnison, Colorado. She now lives in Fort Collins, offering her creative design and printing expertise, professionalism and ideas, to serve your business needs.
