UPDATE 7:30 a.m. PST: Our engineers have successfully wrapped up maintenance, and everything is back to normal. Upload and publish, Clip, share, and like all you want! Thanks for bearing with us.

UPDATE 1 a.m. PST: The issuu site and apps are currently down and not available. This should last for about an hour, and will be over by 9 a.m. PST.

In gearing up for 2016, issuu will be performing maintenance on Monday, December 28th in order to make it more secure and easier to manage. We’re making an effort to do this with as little disruption as possible. Here is what is happening:

Read-only mode from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. UTC

While our engineers are hard at work fine-tuning things on the back end, issuu’s website and mobile apps will be in read-only mode from 8 a.m. UTC. That’s 12 a.m. Pacific time. You’ll still be able to view and read publications on the website and in apps.

However, you will not be able to upload, publish, or otherwise make edits to publications or to your account. You also won’t be able to create a new account, add Clips, stack or like publications. You also might experience some errors while using our mobile apps.

You may also see some intermittent downtime when you won’t be able to access issuu at all. You may see a “Page not available” message.

Plan ahead for publishing

Since you won’t be able to upload or edit publications during this time, we encourage you to plan on publishing on Sunday, December 27th, or later in the day on December 28th.

Back to normal by 4 p.m. UTC

This maintenance should be over by 4 p.m. UTC, which is 8 a.m. Pacific time. After that, the issuu site and apps should behave normally, and you can stack, upload, and publish to your heart’s content.

Get updated on the maintenance

Check @issuu on Twitter for updates regarding this maintenance. You can also visit the issuu Help Center or come back to this blog post for the latest news.

We know this type of maintenance can be inconvenient, and sought to schedule it after the Christmas holiday to affect as few customers as possible. We hope that you’ll be enjoying time with family and friends as issuu spruces itself up. In any case, we’re sorry for any disruption this may cause.
