FORGE. is a quarterly art magazine based in Los Angeles, California. Each issue is a compilation of photographs, illustrations and words centered around a single theme. The primary goal of the magazine is to give exposure to young artists and celebrate the work of artists making a big impact on their respective fields. While operating in both New York City and Los Angeles, FORGE. has developed a strong focus on both cities DIY music and art communities. In edition to publishing the magazine every three months, FORGE. also publishes individual zines by several emerging cartoonists, photographers, and writers. FORGE. is entirely run by Matthew James-Wilson, a freelance writer, photographer, and designer.
